Terms and Conditions
Important to Know
Booking - Pet Portraits - Photos
Once a pet portrait booking has been confirmed I will request a number of photos of the subject(s). It is helpful if you can indicate which photograph you would prefer me to use as the basis for the portrait. I will need additional photos to help with colour, markings, personality etc.
Photographs should be clear, in focus and preferably in natural light.
Please advise if this is to be a memorial portrait commission and if I will be working with printed photographs.

Booking - Deposit & Final Payment
Once I have started work on your pet portrait the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If you wish to cancel your booking, for whatever reason, please provide a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
Full payment is required once the portrait has been completed and prior to posting.
Payment of deposit assumes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Portrait Commissions in Progress
Initially I will send a draft outline of the proposed portrait. I will ask, at this point, if you are happy with the layout. If you want anything changed please advise at this time. I cannot guarantee changes can be made once I have started the portrait. However, I will work closely with you throughout the process and send you regular updates in the form of photographs of the portrait.

Cancellation
A booking is confirmed once the deposit has been paid. You will be advised of the proposed start date of the commission at this point. If you wish to cancel your booking please give a minimum of 2 weeks notice. If I have notified you that I have started on the portrait the deposit becomes non-refundable. If you wish to cancel whilst the portrait is in progress I reserve the right to charge for time and materials used up to that point.

Finished portrait - postage and packing
Once the portrait has been finished I will send a final photograph and request the outstanding balance.
Postage and packing is included in the price, as is a plain, single mount. If you require framing or a different mount please enquire at booking stage and I will provide a separate quotation for this.

Vouchers
Issued vouchers can be used in full or part payment for commissioned pet portraits. Issued vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. However, the expiry date may be extended at the artist's discretion.

Copyright
The artist retains all copyright of any artwork, unless the customer has purchased full rights to the piece (this would incur an additional charge and must be negotiated directly with the artist).
Artwork may not be reproduced in any form without prior written permission from the artist. The artist retains the right to make reproductions of any artwork created where copyright has not been purchased.
